Beyond the Placement

The work of a good agency is what happens after the match.

Most agencies finish when the paperwork does. We are just getting started.

Six things we commit to, for every placement

A named contact, always

You will have one person at Bethel EA who knows your case. They are reachable on WhatsApp for the life of the placement — not a call centre, not a different person each time.

Check-ins that happen

We check in at the end of the first day, after the first week, and at the one-month mark. These are short, friendly conversations. We want to catch small things before they grow.

Free mediation

If a conflict arises between employer and helper, we will help. We listen to both sides. We do not take sides — we help find a way forward.

A clear replacement policy

If a placement is genuinely not working for either side, we have a structured process for what happens next. We will explain it fully before you commit to anything.

Emergency support

In rare situations where a helper cannot safely remain in an employer's home, we have accommodation available. No one is left without options.

Helper wellbeing

We support helpers outside the home too — rest-day programmes, community connections, and partnerships with organisations that do this work well. A helper who is cared for does better work.

What we believe about this work

The hardest, most important work of an agency is what happens after the match. Problems are smallest when they are newest. A call on the first day costs nothing. Leaving it until the third month costs everyone. That is why we have a check-in rhythm, a named person, and a process you can hold us to. Care without follow-through is sentiment. We try to make ours something real.

"The match is not the end. It is the beginning of the work that actually matters."

We also believe that every person in a placement deserves dignity. A helper is not a product moved through a process. An employer is not a wallet. Both are people, navigating something significant — a new household relationship, far from familiar ground. What we can offer is presence. Someone who stays involved, listens when things are difficult, and helps find a way through. Our word is our work. What we say we will do, we do — and this page is where we say it plainly.

Want to know more before you decide?

We are happy to walk you through any of this before you commit to anything. There is no obligation — just a conversation.
